Asking About Sports Teams: Small Talk in the U.S.A.

Talking about sports, even if we don't know the teams or the sport, can help us to build relationships with Americans at work. More than knowing about teams or rules of the game, is to show we are interested in what the other person likes. He or she can help us to understand it as we go along. In this video, I talk about the common small talk question in India, "What team do you support?"

I share some common questions that are similar to this, but in American English. I also give tips on how to use these questions to build a conversation, even if you don't know about the team or the sport.

It seems the video is blurry. I will have to retake this video soon!
Sorry about the inconvenience.
