Christmas Celebrations at Work in India

Posted On: December 24, 2015

Office-going professionals across India celebrate Christmas at work.

While some companies may display the Christmas Crib (nativity), others prefer to try to keep the celebrations more secular. I, on behalf of Authentic Journeys had fun participating as a judge in the Christmas competitions at UST Global in Kochi recently.

Christmas Celebrations at Work in IndiaThis was the first year I had a chance to celebrate Christmas at work or with a client, so I really did not know what to expect! UST Global is one of the largest companies in Infopark and in Kochi. The company has four locations in four different buildings; two in Infopark (Vismaya and Lulu Cyberpark, formerly Tejomaya) and two locations in Carnival Infopark. For purposes of the celebration and competitions, each site became a team. Each team site participated in four different elements of the competition: carol singing (up to four or five carols could be sung), holiday decorations, Santa Claus performance and cake baking. In this post, videos of some of the carol singing will be shared along with photos of some of the other elements of the competitions and celebrations.
