Passport, no Visa: Which Countries Can I Go To Without a Visa?

How many countries can I visit without a visa? 

This depends on the national passport you hold.  Recently, the Passport Index has released a 2016 ranking of the most powerful passports in the world. This list ranks Germany #1. German passport holders can enter 158 countries without a visa. The last ranked country is Afghanistan, with the ability to enter only 24 countries without a visa.
