Improve Confidence and Fluency in English

If you can answer yes to any of these questions, watch the video below:
  • Do you want to speak English like a native speaker or reduce your Mother Tongue Influence (MTI)?
  • If you're an Indian, does your mother tongue influence your spoken English? Do you want to speak more like a native speaker?
  • Will you be living in India and working with Americans?
  • Or, would you be moving to the US for studies, work, or living?
  • Are you nervous about interacting with Americans and speaking English with Americans?
  • I can help you!
  • Here’s a short introduction by me (Jennifer Kumar) talking to you about the requirements of a voice accent screen. An actual example of what I am looking for in a voice accent screen is in this post/video (click here).
If you are unable to watch the video, please scroll down to read some of the highlights.

For those who are unable to watch the video, my aim is to help those already fluent in English to polish their skills. These enhancements are especially good for those working with Americans in BPOs, offshored, or outsourced teams (virtual or phone meetings), traveling often to meet American colleagues or clients, or those who are going to or already live and work in the USA.

I do focus on helping you distinguish and create sounds in English. These sounds will be different than those learned in your mother tongue. This will help you be able to listen to Americans with more clarity as well as talk and be understood by Americans with more clarity, fluency, and confidence.

If you are wondering if I help only Indians, I would like to assure you that you do not have to be an Indian to participate in this service. I have tutored and coached others from other parts of the world as well.

Keep tuned in for an example of exactly what I am looking for in a voice accent screen.

If you have questions or are ready to start sessions, please contact me at authenticjourneys [at} gmail [dot] com, I am based in Kochi, India and take appointments in person, over the phone, or via Skype (or other net-based voice programs).

Prepare your team for successful client onsite visits by contacting Jennifer Kumar for more information on US cultural training programs delivered by an American born citizen living in Kochi, India.
